admin_help <keyword or string | # >
Displays information about available commands
admin_ban <target or WONID or IP> [<minutes>]
Bans target. 0 minutes is a permanent ban.
admin_cancelvote
Cancels the current hlds_ld vote
admin_cfg <config file>
Executes config file on server.
admin_chat <msg>
Shows message only to other admins.
admin_csay <msg>
Shows message in center of screen.
admin_denymap <map>
Removes all votes for map.
admin_disco
Starts disco fever. Fun mode only.
admin_enableallweapons
Allows all weapons to be purchased. Use to remove all active weapon restrictions.
admin_enableequipment
Allows all equipment to be purchased. Use to remove all active equipment purchase restrictions.

Sets the mp_teamplay cvar.
admin_teleport <target> <X> <Y> <Z>
Teleports target to the given coordinates. See admin_userorigin.
admin_timeleft
Shows the time left.

Sets the mp_timelimit cvar. Value = minutes.
admin_tsay [color] <msg>
Prints msg on lower right of screen.

Server Variables
These variables can only be changed by server operators or users with remote console (rcon). Newest settings on top.
mp_startmoney x
This integer value controls the amount that players start with at the beginning of a new map or when they join a server. 800 is the default and the minimum value, while 16000 is the maximum.
mp_logdetail x
Use this bitwise svar to control the depth of your logs. Be warned, these options can eat away hard drive space and CPU cycles. Use 0, the default, to log no attacks, 1 to log enemy attacks, 2 to log teammate attacks, and 3 to log both.
mp_playerid x
This variable controls what players see when they put their crosshair over an enemy, a hostage, or a teammate. At 0 (the default), the player see's all popups with team colors. At 1, the player sees their teammates and hostages, with team colors. At 2, players see no popups.
mp_forcechasecam x
This is to combat ghosting, or giving enemy locations to your alive teammates while dead. 0 disables such enforcement (default), 1 locks the player's chasecam onto teammates only (players lose the ability to roam), 2 doesn't like the player move or spectate while dead. They stay near their dead corpse.
mp_fadetoblack x
This is also to combat ghosting, but is more harsh. 0 will have no affect on the game, while 1 will disable chasecam and any sort of death cam at all. The client's screen fades to black instantly after death. One boon of this setting is that corpses stay around for the entire round. Useful for clan matches.
mp_buytime x
A floating point (decimal) value to determine the buy time in minutes. E.g., '1.25' equals one minute and fifteen seconds of buy time (this is not the pause, but the time where it is legal to purchase stuff). The minimum value is 0.25 and there is no maximum.
mp_roundtime x
This variable determines the round time, in minutes. After this amount of minutes has passed, a scenario win is awarded (e.g., hostages weren't rescued or the bomb was not planted). This is also a floating point value, but most server operators use integers. The minimum value is 1 minute, the maximum is 9. The default is 5 minutes.
mp_timelimit x
This is also a floating point value. It's the same as the above option, only it applies to the map and not the round. The default 20 minutes.
mp_maxrounds x
This, of course, is an integer (whole number). When a two teams finish playing this amount of rounds (before the timelimit or the winlimit is reached) the map ends. 0, or disabled, is the default.
mp_winlimit x
This, of course, is an integer (whole number). When a team reaches this amount of wins (before the timelimit or the roundlimit is reached), it has won the map. 0, or disabled, is the default.
allow_spectators x
Setting to 1 will allow spectators, while 0 will disallow them. These are non-playing spectators, not dead people.
mp_autokick x
This variable is defaulted to 1. Toggles automatic team-killer banning and kicking of idle clients - Setting of 1 = 'on', and 0 = 'off'.
mp_autoteambalance x
This variable is defaulted to 1. Toggles the forcing of clients to join teams to make it balanced - Setting of 1 = 'on', and 0 = 'off'.
mp_c4timer x
This variable is defaulted to 45. Sets the amount of time in between C4 placement and its explosion - ranges between 15 and 90 seconds.
mp_flashlight x
This variable is defaulted to 1. Toggles the use of flashlights by clients - Setting of 1 = 'on', and 0 = 'off'.
mp_footsteps x
This variable is defaulted to 1. Toggles footstep sounds - Setting of 1 = 'on', and 0 = 'off'.
mp_freezetime x
This variable is defaulted to 6. Sets the amount of "freeze" time at the beginning of each round to buy weapons and equipment - Use a setting of '0' to disable.
mp_friendlyfire x
This variable is defaulted to 0. Toggles friendly fire - Setting of 1 = 'on', and 0 = 'off'.
mp_hostagepenalty x
This variable is defaulted to 0, or disabled. Sets the number of hostages a player can kill before they are booted from the server.
mp_limitteams x
This variable is defaulted to 2. Sets the maximum number of players that one team can have more than the other team - Use a setting of '0' to completely disable the team limiting.
mp_logmessages x
This variable is defaulted to 1. Toggles logging of chat messages in the log files - Setting of 1 = 'on', and 0 = 'off'.
mp_mapvoteratio x
This variable is defaulted to 0.6. Set the ratio of players required to vote on the same map before a map will change. The default is 0.6 , which means that 60% of the players on a server must vote on the same map in order for the server to change to that map. The range is 0.0-1.0.
mp_kickpercent x
This variable is defaulted to 0.66. Set the ratio of players on someone's team required to vote to kick the "someone." The default is 0.66, which means that 66% (2/3rds) of the players on his team must vote him off in order for him to be kicked. The range is 0.0-1.0.
mp_tkpunish x
This variable is defaulted to 1. Toggles the forcing of a player to sit out the next round if he has just killed a teammate - Setting of 1 = 'on', and 0 = 'off'.
sv_restart x or sv_restartround x
This variable is defaulted to 0. Sets the amount of time in seconds before resetting the game, including frags, map entities, money, and the amount of time left. Use setting of '0' to disable these restarts. Setting this to 5 would restart the game in five seconds and reset the variable to 0.

mp_limitteams (default 2) | Used in conjunction with the mp_autoteambalance command to allow you to have unequal teams on the server. Valid values for X are 1 (on) or 0 (off). |
sv_restartround
(default 0 sec) |
Causes the current game to restart in X seconds. |
mp_autokick (default 1) | Automatic throwing out players who don't behave correctly. |
mp_chasecam (default 0) | Observers are limited only to chase-camera mode. |
mp_ghostfrequency (default 0.1 sec) | Ghost update period. Marks the time till the next update. |
mp_c4timer (default 45 sec) | Change how long the C4 takes to explode on DE maps. |
mp_freezetime (default 6 sec) | Time for buying weapons in the beginning of every round. |
mp_roundtime (default 5 min) | Setting round timer. Min value is 3, max is15 minutes. |
mp_friendlyfire (default 0) | 1 turns on friendly fire option, 0 turns it off. |
mp_timelimit (default 0 min) | Time untill the map will be changed. |
mp_footsteps (default 1) | Sound of footsteps turned on/off. |
mp_flashlight (default 1) | Ability of using flashlight turned on/off. |
sv_sendvelocity (default 0) | Complex server physics and decals. |
mp_tkpunish 0/1 | Turn punishment for Team Kills on (1) or off (0). If on, it causes someone who TKs to sit out the next round. |
mp_hostagepenalty X | Max number of hostages you can kill before server throw you out. |
mp_logmessages 0/1 | Saving chat messages in a log file. |
mp_forcechasecam 0/1 | Turns on/off free look mode. |
mp_autoteambalance 0 | Turns automatic team balancing on (1) or off (0). Normally used with the mp_limitteams command. |
CLIENT SIDE CONSOLE COMMANDS | |
These commands are used by players to configure some settings and to communicate with the server. |

name ''name'' | Changes the name of a player. |
cl_observercrosshair (default 1) | Ability of having crosshair in observer mode. |
cl_hidefrags (default 1) | Hides frags/kills of other players. |
hud_centerid (default 0) | 1 centers auto-ID text on the screen. |
lefthand (default 1) | 1 is for left-handed players, 0 is for right-hended. |
fastsprites X | Simplicity degree of smoke granade appearance on the screen. |
adjust_crosshair | Use to change crosshair color. |
max_smokepuffs X | X is max number of smoke puffs in a moment. |
max_shells X | Max number of shells. |
con_color | Changes the color of the HUD. |
timeleft | Shows how much time is left on the current map. |
setinfo | Shows all infokeys status. |
setinfo <keyname> <value> | Infokey value change. |
dm (default 1) | Turns on/off the briefing after a map is finished. |
ghosts (default 0) | 1 turns on the ability of seeing ghosts in observer mode. |
ah (default 1) | 1 for autohelp on, 0 for off. |
cl_showfps X | Displays your current Frames Per
Second. Values for X are 1 or 0. |
connect X | Connect to a server - replace X with the server address. |
listmaps | Shows the list of maps in the server's map cycle. |
listplayers | Shows a list of the players in the current game, along with their player number. This is how you find out the player number for the "vote" console command. |
netgraph X | Show the network graph. This will bring up a graph showing the performance of your internet connection. It will also tell you your Frames Per Second, the current amount of packet loss, and the amount of choke. Packet loss and Choke are one of the major causes of lag. Valid choices are 1 2 3 or 0 (off). |
retry | This will cause you to attempt to re-connect to the last server that you tired to connect to. |
vote X | Vote for player number X to be kicked off the server. The majority of the players on the server must vote for the same player to be kicked off for this to work. |
votemap X | Vote for map number X - See "listmaps". Most servers require at least 60% of the players on a server to vote for the same map before the map is changed. |
ah X | Toggles Auto-Help (gives player hint messages throught the game) - Setting of 1 = 'on', and 0 = 'off' |
dm X | Toggles displaying of map briefings after loading a new map - Setting of 1 = 'on', and 0 = 'off' |
drawradar | This turns the radar on |
hideradar | This turns the radar off |
rate 2500 | Sets how much data/information you receive from the server that you are connected to - for a 14.4 connection, set your rate to 1500 - 33.6k connection use 3000 - 56k modem use 3500 - ISDN should be 5000 - all connections faster than that should be between 5000 and 9999 |
